Disneyland Paris Guide 2026: Disney Adventure World, Tickets and Getting There

Disneyland Paris lies about 32 km east of central Paris and has two parks: Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, the former Walt Disney Studios Park, which took its new name on 29 March 2026 when World of Frozen opened. The RER A from central Paris reaches Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy in about 40 minutes for €2.55, and the TGV from Charles de Gaulle Airport takes 10–15 minutes. Ticket prices change by date, under-3s go free, and tickets must be bought in advance.

Key takeaways

What are the two parks at Disneyland Paris? (2026 update)

Disneyland Paris has two neighbouring parks: Disneyland Park, open since 1992, and Disney Adventure World, which is what Walt Disney Studios Park has been called since 29 March 2026. The two entrances are a few minutes' walk apart, with the Disney Village dining and shopping area and Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station in between.

Disneyland Park

Disneyland Park is the classic castle park, built around Sleeping Beauty Castle (Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant) and divided into five lands: Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland. These are the headline rides and their height limits:

Attraction Type Minimum height
Big Thunder Mountain Mine-train roller coaster 1.02 m
Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain Indoor roller coaster 1.20 m
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril Roller coaster 1.40 m
Pirates of the Caribbean Boat ride None
Peter Pan's Flight Dark ride None

Disney Adventure World

Disney Adventure World is the rebuilt and enlarged Walt Disney Studios Park, which reopened under its new name on 29 March 2026. It is split into World Premiere Plaza, Adventure Way, World of Frozen, Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar.

A new land themed on The Lion King is planned, but no opening date has been announced; check the official Disneyland Paris website for updates.

How much are Disneyland Paris tickets? Which ticket to choose

Disneyland Paris uses date-based pricing: a 1-day, 1-park ticket starts at roughly €60 on the quietest dates and can pass €100 on peak days and holidays, so check the calendar on the official ticket page for your date. Tickets are generally not sold at the park gates and must be bought in advance online or in the app.

Ticket type What to know Best for
Dated ticket (1–4 days) Price varies by date; cancellable and refundable up to 3 days before Fixed plans, catching low-season prices
Undated 1-day ticket Valid for one year, but you must register your visit date in advance Travellers without fixed dates
1-park ticket Entry to one of the two parks that day Visiting only Disneyland Park or Adventure World
2-park ticket Go back and forth between both parks that day Seeing both parks in one day

Child tickets apply to ages 3–11, and children under 3 enter free. Guests with an official proof of disability and one companion get 25% off certain tickets.

Is Disney Premier Access worth it?

Disney Premier Access is a paid fast lane that lets you skip the regular queue, and it pays off most on weekends, school holidays and other busy days. Disneyland Paris sells two versions, and you need a valid park ticket for the day to buy either:

Option Attractions Time slot How to buy
Premier Access Ultimate Once on every eligible attraction (except Orbitron) No time slot App, website (with Hotel + Tickets packages), can be bought in advance
Premier Access One Once on one chosen attraction Next available slot is allocated App only, on the day of your visit

Eligible rides include Frozen Ever After, Big Thunder Mountain, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Ratatouille and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Prices vary by date and ride; see the official Premier Access page and the app.

How to get to Disneyland Paris from Paris and CDG airport

The easiest way to reach Disneyland Paris is by train to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station, a few minutes' walk from the park gates. From central Paris take the RER A; from Charles de Gaulle there is a direct TGV, and both airports have Magical Shuttle coaches straight to the Disney Hotels.

From Transport Time (approx.) Adult single fare
Central Paris (Châtelet–Les Halles etc.) RER A 40 min €2.55
CDG airport (CDG 2 TGV station) TGV high-speed train 10–15 min Varies by train
CDG airport RER B, then RER A 1 h 20 min €14 (airport ticket)
CDG or Orly airport Magical Shuttle coach 1 h €24 (child €11)
Orly airport Metro line 14, then RER A 1 h 15 min €14 (airport ticket)

Prices are for 2026; journey times vary with the service and connections.

From central Paris: RER A

From central Paris, take the RER A towards Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, the end of the line. Since 2025 the Île-de-France region has a single fare for metro, RER and trains, and in 2026 a "métro-train-RER" ticket costs €2.55, with no zone supplement to Disneyland; see the Île-de-France Mobilités fares. The RER A splits into two eastern branches, so make sure the train shows "Marne-la-Vallée Chessy" and not Boissy-Saint-Léger.

From CDG airport: TGV or Magical Shuttle

The TGV station at CDG Terminal 2 has direct high-speed trains to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy in about 10–15 minutes; fares depend on the train and when you book, so check SNCF Connect. The Magical Shuttle coach drops you at each Disney Hotel for €24 per adult, €11 for under-12s and free for under-2s, taking about an hour. From 19 October 2026 it no longer accepts cash on board, and timetables change from 12 October, so check the latest schedule before you travel.

From Orly airport

From Orly, take metro line 14, extended to the airport in 2024, into central Paris and change to the RER A at Châtelet; the €14 "Paris Région ↔ Aéroports" ticket covers the trip between the airport and any station in the region. With large bags or young children, the direct Magical Shuttle from Orly to the Disney Hotels is the easier option.

Which Disneyland Paris hotel should you choose?

Disneyland Paris has seven Disney-run hotels, and the closest to the parks is the Disneyland Hotel, which sits right at the entrance of Disneyland Park. Staying at a Disney Hotel lets you enter the parks before official opening time (with a Hotel + Tickets package), and most hotels are a walk or a free shuttle-bus ride from the gates.

Hotel Theme Getting to the parks
Disneyland Hotel Five-star royal castle style At the Disneyland Park entrance
Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel Marvel superheroes Walking distance
Disney Newport Bay Club New England seaside Walk or free shuttle bus
Disney Sequoia Lodge National-park lodge Walk or free shuttle bus
Disney Hotel Cheyenne Wild West, Toy Story Free shuttle bus
Disney Hotel Santa Fe Cars, Route 66 Free shuttle bus
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch Forest cabins Car needed

On a tighter budget, you can also stay around Val d'Europe or in central Paris and ride the RER A each day.

What to do with luggage at Disneyland Paris

Park rules at Disneyland Paris ban suitcases and large bags over 55 × 40 × 25 cm (wheels and handles included) from the parks, so they have to go into a luggage storage facility outside. If you come straight from the airport, you have to deal with your bags before you can go in; and if you are moving between a Disney Hotel and a hotel in Paris, hauling big suitcases on a crowded RER at rush hour, with stairs at many connections, is hard work.

LuggAgent can collect your luggage at the airport or your hotel and deliver it to your next accommodation the same day or the next day, so you can head into the parks with just a day bag. See luggage delivery in Paris for details.

FAQ

Is Walt Disney Studios Park still open at Disneyland Paris?

Yes, under a new name. Walt Disney Studios Park was renamed Disney Adventure World on 29 March 2026, the same day World of Frozen and Adventure Way opened. Existing rides such as Ratatouille, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Avengers Campus attractions are still running.

How long does it take to get from Paris to Disneyland Paris, and how much is it?

The RER A from Châtelet–Les Halles to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy takes about 40 minutes, and a single ticket costs €2.55 in 2026. Since 2025 the Île-de-France region has a flat fare, so there is no zone supplement. The park gates are a few minutes' walk from the station.

What is the fastest way from CDG airport to Disneyland Paris?

The fastest option is the TGV from the CDG Terminal 2 TGV station, which reaches Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy directly in about 10–15 minutes; fares vary by train. To be dropped at your hotel door, take the Magical Shuttle, which takes about an hour and costs €24 per adult one way.

Can I buy Disneyland Paris tickets at the gate?

Generally no. Tickets must be bought in advance on the official website, in the official app or through authorised sellers; you can only buy at the gate when paying with holiday vouchers, gift cards or cash, and only if the park has not reached capacity that day. Dated tickets can be cancelled and refunded up to 3 days before your visit.

Can I bring a suitcase into Disneyland Paris?

No. Suitcases and large bags over 55 × 40 × 25 cm (including wheels, pockets and handles) are not allowed in the parks and must go into the luggage storage facility outside; lockers at each park entrance take smaller items. Pushchairs under 92 × 132 cm are allowed but must be left outside the attractions.
