- Payment Processor — Stripe, Inc.: Your payment information (such as card details) is collected and processed directly by Stripe. LuggAgent does not itself store your full card details. Stripe is an internationally recognized payment service provider compliant with the PCI-DSS standard; its data processing is separately governed by Stripe's own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. Such data is shared only for the purpose of fulfilling the Service, and all partners are required to comply with applicable personal data protection laws. LuggAgent will not sell, rent, or otherwise exchange your personal data for commercial purposes.
All data is transmitted and stored using secure encryption and is accessible only to authorized personnel. Where a data transfer involves provision of data from an overseas server (e.g., Hong Kong) to our logistics partner in Japan, we will assess and adopt appropriate protective measures in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and its relevant guidelines. Whether such a transfer constitutes the "provision of personal data to a foreign third party" as defined under APPI depends on the specific circumstances and the latest interpretation of the competent authority; we will continue to seek professional legal advice to ensure our arrangements comply with applicable law.
LuggAgent is committed to complying with the requirements of GDPR, CCPA, APPI, and PIPL to ensure your data is appropriately protected during cross-border transfer and processing.
