When is the Singapore F1 in 2027?
As of October 2026, the dates of the 2027 Singapore F1 have not been announced. Recent races have been held between late September and early October (9–11 October in 2026), so 2027 is expected in the same window; check the Singapore GP official site and the official F1 calendar for confirmed dates.
| Year | Dates | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 3–5 October | Standard format |
| 2026 | 9–11 October | Round 17, first Sprint weekend |
| 2027 | Not announced (expected late September to early October) | Subject to official announcement |
A race weekend usually starts with practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday night; the night race normally starts at 8 p.m. local time, but follow the official schedule. Singapore extended its F1 contract in January 2022, keeping the race on the calendar until at least 2028.
What makes the Singapore F1 circuit special?
The Marina Bay Street Circuit was F1's first night-race track: 4.927 km, 19 corners and 62 laps through the city-centre streets around Marina Bay, City Hall and the Padang. In 2023 the section over The Float @ Marina Bay was replaced by a straight along Raffles Avenue while the Float was rebuilt as NS Square, so there is no longer a "Float grandstand".

The narrow, twisty street track and hot, humid tropical nights make it one of the most physically demanding races for drivers, and safety cars are common.
How much are Singapore F1 tickets?
Singapore F1 tickets are split into grandstand and Walkabout tickets: in 2026, 3-day tickets ran from S$548 (Zone 4 Walkabout) to S$1,798 (Pit Grandstand), with single-day options too. These are the official 2026 prices (SGD, including GST); 2027 prices will be published on the official site:
| Ticket | 3-day | Sunday only | Why choose it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pit Grandstand | S$1,798 | S$1,198 | Faces the start/finish and the pit lane |
| Republic Grandstand | S$988 | S$688 | Heavy braking at the end of a long straight |
| Padang Grandstand | S$738 | S$468 | Next to the Padang concert stage |
| Stamford Grandstand | S$608 | S$428 | One of the most affordable grandstands |
| Premier Walkabout | S$728 | S$498 | Roam freely across several zones |
| Zone 4 Walkabout | S$548 | S$368 | Cheapest option, Marina Bay views and food stalls |
Grandstand or Walkabout: which should you choose?
Choose the Pit Grandstand for the start and pit strategy, Republic or the grandstands around Turns 1 and 2 for overtaking and heavy braking, and a Walkabout ticket if you're on a budget or want concerts and food stalls too. Grandstand tickets come with a reserved seat; Walkabout tickets are standing only, so arrive early for a good spot.

When do 2027 tickets go on sale?
The official site has already released 2027 Super Early Bird tickets, and some grandstands already show as sold out; general tickets usually follow in the months before the race. Popular grandstands (Pit, Turn 1, Turn 2, Marina Bay and others) sold out before the 2026 race, so buy early, and only through the official site or authorised resellers.
Can you watch the Singapore F1 without a ticket?
Not really. The whole circuit park is closed off during the event and you need a ticket to get in; views from outside are very limited. Without a ticket, watch the broadcast at a restaurant, bar or hotel and enjoy the race atmosphere in town.
How to get to the Singapore F1: MRT and transport
The easiest way to get to the Singapore F1 is the MRT: City Hall, Esplanade, Promenade, Bayfront and Raffles Place stations surround the circuit, each serving different gates and zones.

- Check which gate your ticket uses first, then pick the nearest station; the official circuit park map and event guide mark every gate.
- Roads around the circuit close in stages before and after race week, so taxis and ride-hailing cars detour; after the race, walking plus the MRT is fastest.
- Stations get very crowded after the race; watch for official announcements of extended last trains.
- The Singapore F1 goes ahead rain or shine, so bring a light rain poncho.
Where to stay for the Singapore F1
The most convenient base for the Singapore F1 is within walking distance of the circuit, around Marina Bay and City Hall; next best are Bugis, Clarke Quay or Orchard Road, a few MRT stops away.
| Area | To the circuit | What it's like |
|---|---|---|
| Marina Bay | Walking distance | Most convenient, highest race-weekend rates |
| City Hall and Esplanade | Walking distance | Close to the Padang and Stamford gates |
| Bugis and Clarke Quay | About 1–2 MRT stops | Lots of restaurants, lower rates |
| Orchard Road | About 10–15 min by MRT | Great for shopping, quieter after the race |
Hotel rates near the circuit rise sharply on race weekend, so book as soon as the dates are confirmed.
What do you need to enter Singapore?
To enter Singapore for the F1, submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) within 3 days before arrival (including the day of arrival), free of charge on the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website or the MyICA app. ICA warns against paid third-party filing sites; transit passengers who don't clear immigration are exempt. Taiwan passport holders can enter Singapore visa-free, with the length of stay set on arrival.
What to do with your luggage around the Singapore F1
The Singapore F1 circuit park has security checks and a list of prohibited items, so large luggage isn't practical to bring in. Many fans land on Friday and leave on Monday; if you want a last half day in the city after check-out, or are switching hotels, your bags become a problem. With roads around the circuit closed and taxis hard to find, dragging a suitcase through the crowds is even harder.
LuggAgent delivers luggage in Singapore: we collect bags at Changi Airport or your hotel and deliver them the same day or the next day to your next hotel or the airport, so you can head straight into town or to the circuit after landing. See Singapore luggage delivery for coverage and prices.
If you want to go straight to the circuit or the city after landing, hand us your bags at Changi Airport and we'll take them to your hotel; on departure day we can also take them from your hotel to the airport:
If you're staying at more than one hotel over race weekend, leave your bags at the front desk when you check out and we'll take them to the next one:
